Key Personnel Changes

To Our Valued Customers:

We are very pleased to announce the hiring of Richard R. Gibbons as Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the New Can Co., Inc.

 Rick comes to us with a broad and successful sales and marketing background.  His career in the filtration industry, serving OEM, aftermarket and industrial suppliers will provide New Can with the expertise and experience needed to better meet the needs of our valued customers.

Rick has held senior leadership positions with Hollingsworth & Vose and Merrimac Paper.  At Hollingsworth & Vose, a manufacturer of specialty industrial papers primarily for the filter industry, he was Market Manager for Cellulose Filter Media as well as product manager for the Engine Filter group.  In this role he directed market and product management for multiple business groups.  His product knowledge aided his customers in optimizing the application of filter media.

 As Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Merrimac paper he was responsible for the sales and marketing activity of multiple business units.

 In both positions Rick has employed a deep commitment to customer service, on time delivery and product support.  His demonstrated success in these key areas will assist us in furthering our support to our customers.  Throughout his career he has been successful in building and establishing positive sales and customer service teams.

 Rick holds a Bachelor Degree in Business.  He resides in Massachusetts with his wife and three children.
